Lanka Was Called To The Sri Lankan Bar, As An Attorney-At-Law, In September 2006 And Has Since Having Registered With The Law Society For England And Wales, Been Practising As A Civil Lawyer In London For The Past 12 Years Dealing With All Civil Law Related Matters.
He is a Director and Shareholder of Freeman Harris Solicitors and Heads the London Personal Injury and Litigation Department.
He specialises in Fast-track and Multi-track high-value Personal Injury cases and Credit hire matters. In addition, he also deals with housing disrepair and commercial Debt recovery matters.
He has successfully dealt with a multitude of complex personal injury and credit hire cases with an exceptionally high success rate in both litigated and non-litigated matters, having been the highest fee earner for the firm for the past 11 years.
Academically he obtained an Honours Degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of London and a Masters in Law (LL.M) in International Law from the University of Bristol.
He speaks English and Sinhalese and in addition speaks conversational Bulgarian.
