Isabel Fisher

Isabel is a solicitor within the firm’s commercial litigation team, specialising in professional negligence, having qualified in 2025 following completion of her training contract with the firm.

Isabel primarily works alongside Avi Gordon, supporting him on a wide range of matters, and is frequently instructed on multi-million-pound claims against a variety of professionals, with a large proportion of her work involving claims against solicitors and barristers.

In addition to this, Isabel assists with a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, business and personal loan and debt claims, shareholders’ agreements and insurance disputes, across a variety of industries.

She regularly assists with pre-action correspondence, drafting pleadings, liaising with counsel, and supporting matters throughout the litigation process. Her work also involves detailed legal research, drafting key documents, and supporting with client advisory work, adopting a practical and detail-focused approach.

Isabel is committed to building strong and lasting relationships with clients and to supporting them at each stage of their legal journey.

Experience

Acting for a client in respect of a professional negligence claim against a conveyancing solicitor in relation to a property purchase, securing a quick and favourable settlement for the client.

Acting for an employer in respect of an employee’s breach of a settlement agreement, obtaining a very favourable settlement for the client.

Acting for clients in a professional negligence claim against their previous solicitors in relation to their conduct of the litigation matter they were instructed to act on. The matter settled on favourable terms for the clients at a pre-action mediation.
