Rajas Chitnis

Rajas is a Solicitor who works on complex commercial litigation matters such as professional negligence, and public international law matters, such as those involving international sanctions. Rajas has also worked on and assists with matrimonial, private client, and non-contentious commercial matters.

Rajas has experience dealing with all aspects of commercial litigation and professional negligence disputes. During his training contract, Rajas has had hands-on experience with various complex, multi-million-pound claims against solicitors, as well as on complex company litigation. Rajas has also had unique experience dealing with matters relating to international sanctions enforcement, particularly with the Russian Sanctions regime.

In addition to being a Trainee, Rajas is also a qualified Advocate in India.

Rajas is a graduate of City, University of London, where he graduated his LLB (with study abroad) in 2019, the LLM in Public International Law in 2020, and the LLM in Legal Practice in 2021. Rajas initially trained at Kyriakides & Braier Solicitors and has been a Trainee at Freeman Harris since July 2023.

Rajas qualified as a Solicitor in April 2024.
