Senior Solicitor

John Holtom

Although John was admitted as a solicitor in 1993, his legal career started back in 1986 as an articled clerk (trainee solicitor) at J Tickle & Co, a central London firm specialising in medical law and medical negligence.

He completed his training at a Mackenzie Knight, initially in Southall, then setting up a new office in Hounslow.  Alongside medical negligence, his work was mostly crime and personal injury.

Having qualified, John focused on PI and medical negligence in Central London at Simpson Millar, then at Fennemores in the Home Counties.  He then became a partner at Vincents Solicitors, setting up an office in Luton that became the office of Legal Solutions Partnership in 2006.

In 2015 LSP was taken over by Freeman Harris.   John manages the Freeman Harris office in Dunstable which is still badged as LSP.  The office handles mostly PI, family and Polish community work.  His own work is focused on complex medical negligence, including negligence within the mental health sector.  He continues to work on high value PI claims and represents clients at inquests.  He also acts for Claimants in other civil matters, in particular, actions against the police.
