I am a Trainee Solicitor at Freeman Harris. I started as a Paralegal, working in the Personal Injury Department.
I enjoy working in Family Law. I believe that majority of the people who have chosen a career in the legal profession, did so, with the initial intention of helping others. Family Law fulfils that objective, as I feel we are helping the Client reach a goal, be it the end of a matrimonial dispute or gaining access to their children.
My passion lies in Family Law, and I hope to practise pre-dominantly in this area of Law once I qualify.
In my spare time, I do tutoring. I enjoy playing sports and reading. I am also heavily involved in community projects in my local neighbourhood. I am multi-lingual, as I can speak English and Bengali (Sylheti) fluently; Bengali (Dhaka dialect), Hindi and Urdu to a moderate level.
My motto is, “mind over matter” – which means any goal is achievable if you put 100% into whatever you are doing.
